HOW HEY IDRIS WORKS

From “we need a website”
to your next chapter online.

You brief Idris, AI creates the website, and you direct the revisions. Your business details, content, design choices and feedback stay in one project, so you can guide the work without coordinating a separate developer.

Tell Idris about your business

Start in your own words: what you do, who you serve and why you need a website. Idris asks specific follow-up questions to help identify the right pages, content and visitor actions.

You can try a short guest text conversation. Sign in to save a project and continue in the workspace; live voice is available where your device and browser support it.

Bring the content and photos

Add the information customers will need: services, product details, prices, areas covered and ways to get in touch. Choose colours, upload your logo and assign photos to their intended pages or offerings.

More relevant detail helps the result. If something is unknown, discuss a starting assumption instead of inventing a price, testimonial or business claim.

Check and approve the brief

Review the planned audience, pages, content, features and visual direction before the build. Correct anything that is wrong or missing, and decide whether you are comfortable with any stated assumptions.

Approval starts the website work. It does not publish a site or connect payments, bookings or an external domain.

Follow the website build

The platform researches design references, develops an art direction and creates the page layouts, styles and copy. Progress appears in your project as the build moves through its stages and checks.

Builds can take time. If a stage fails, your previous saved preview remains available; a saved-draft continuation may be offered.

Explore the preview and refine it

Look through every page and check the wording, images, layout and navigation. Tell Idris what should change. He prepares a revision plan for your approval before the next build.

For example: “On the About page, put the workshop photo beside our story and keep the contact section underneath.” A saved comparison helps you review what changed.

Choose when and how to launch

Check the chosen version, including its desktop and mobile layout, links and enabled request forms. Publish explicitly when you are ready, or download the website files for your chosen hosting route.

Later edits stay private until you publish a reviewed version. A custom domain needs hosting and DNS configuration; buying a domain alone does not connect it.

A USEFUL FIRST MESSAGE

Start with your business.
Add what matters.

“I make reclaimed home decorations. I want a bold, workshop-style website that shows each piece clearly and lets people send an enquiry. I have product photos, but I need help planning the pages.”

That gives Idris an offer, a design direction, an intended customer action and an idea of the assets available. He can ask about the remaining details from there.

Before you start

Do I have to know all the answers before I start?

No. Start with what you know. Idris helps you explore the decisions that affect the site. Review assumptions and missing details before approving the brief.

Am I speaking to a developer?

You are speaking to Idris, an AI website director. He is your point of contact for the brief and changes; the platform’s AI build workflow creates the page files. There is no human developer on the other end of the conversation. Review the result and stay within the supported features.

What if Idris misunderstands what I want?

Correct the brief or give specific feedback about the affected page, section and intended result. Review the revision plan before approving another build. AI can misunderstand instructions or miss details; your approvals and checks remain part of the process.

Does the build check everything for me?

The platform runs supported technical checks and source-based design reviews. These do not establish that every visual detail or customer journey is correct. Inspect the actual preview and test the final visitor experience yourself.

Can I stop and come back later?

Signed-in projects keep your conversation, brief and saved versions together. Return using the same account and open Saved projects to continue. A running build may continue independently of the page; check its status before starting another.
